Dianne Kay Grimes

Dianne Kay Grimes, 53, passed away on January 23, 2016 at Carle Hospital in Urbana, IL. She was born the daughter of Francis and Doris (Henrichs) Lucht on August 21, 1962 in Watseka, IL. Dianne married Dean Grimes on May 9, 1992 at Schwer Church in Millford, IL. Dianne is survived by her father & step-mother Eunice Lucht; husband; daughter Megan Grimes; brothers David (Joy) Lucht, Paul (Stacy) Lucht, & Kevin (Peggy) Lucht; parents-in-law Walter & Nancy Grimes; brother & sister-in-law Dan & Carri Grimes; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, & uncles. Dianne is preceded in death by her mother and her brother Dennis Lucht. Dianne worked as secretary to the Chief of Staff at the Danville VA medical center for over 33 years. She enjoyed reading, playing the piano at Schwer Church, and collecting shells on the beach. She liked to spend time with her family, and go on outings with past & current coworkers. Visitation will be held at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center on Thursday January 28, 2016 from 4-7pm. Service will be held on Friday January 29 at 10am at the funeral home with a one hour prior visitation. Burial will take place at Pleasant Grove cemetery. Memorial donations can be made in Dianne's name to Comet Power Pink in care of Amy Wise Benefit or St. John's Lutheran Church Schwer.
