Dianna Plog

Dianna Plog, 74, of Olivet, passed away at her home on March 26, 2024. Dianna was born the daughter of Robert and Azilee (Moffitt) Dooley October 8, 1949, in Kansa City, MO. She married Laurence Plog on August 10, 1973. He survives.

Also, surviving Dianna is her son, Robert Mark Plog, her sister, Debbie (Kirt) Hendrick, and several sister and brother in laws, many nieces and nephews and several cousins.

Dianna was preceded in death by her parents, and parents in law, and one sister-in-law Sharon K Wiles.

Dianna attended Olivet grade school and graduated from Georgetown High School class of 1967. She went to Beauty school in Danville and graduated from there. She worked at Glen-Mar in Ridge Farm for many years doing hair. Dianna loved to watch basketball and cheer on her teams. She enjoyed collecting cookie jars and holiday decorations. She enjoyed placing flags on veterans graves at memorial time for the last 29 years. Going to car shows and tractor pulls with her boys was an enjoyment they will always remember.

A visitation for Dianna will be held on Wednesday April 3, 2024, from 4-7pm at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Georgetown, Illinois, 200 East West Street. Service will be on Thursday April 4, 2024, at 1pm with burial to follow at Vermilion Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Diannas name to Neal EMS or La-Salette-Academy.
