Diann C. Mcintosh

Hillsdale, Ind. - Diann C. McIntosh, 72, of Hillsdale passed away at 9:07 p.m. EDT Thursday, October 18, 2018 at Union Hospital Clinton in Clinton, Indiana.

She was born May 9, 1946 in San Diego, California the daughter of Gordon Neil and Jane E. (Smith) McMillin.

Survivors include her children: Douglas (Debra) McIntosh; Shane McIntosh and Paige (Nick) Kilgore all of Newport, Indiana; Jamie (Dan) Noble of Covington, Indiana and Michael Cooper of Chicago, Illinois; her mother: Jane E. McMillin of Danville, Illinois; significant other: Jim McFall of Hillsdale, Indiana; seven grandchildren: Aimee Brink; Taylor Kilgore; Chase Noble; Luke Cooper; Kaden Kilgore; Isabella Cooper and Reese Noble; two great grandchildren: Cheyenne Walters and Alexis Brink; one sister: Dawn McMillin of Danville, Illinois and special friend: Kristie Jones of Hillsdale, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her father, G. Neil McMillin.

Diann retired from the Vermillion County Auditors Office as a bookkeeper. She was currently the co-owner of the Beer Cooler in Hillsdale, Indiana. A graduate of Danville High School (Illinois), Diann was a member of the Vermillion County Historical Society and the Newport American Legion Auxiliary Unit 184. She enjoyed fishing, traveling, hunting, picking, spending time on the Wabash River, being outdoors and painting, especially with watercolors.

Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. EDT Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana. A private family graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2018 at Thomas Cemetery in Newport, Indiana; Officiating: Pastor Keith McIntyre. Contributions may be made to the American Kidney Fund, 11921 Rockville Pike, Suite 300, Rockville, Maryland 20852.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. EDT Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at the funeral home. Private graveside services will be held on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Thomas Cemetery in Newport, Indiana.
