Urbana - Diane McFarland, 60, passed away on Tuesday November 15, 2016 at her home in Urbana, IL. She was born on April 3, 1956 to Clemmie Lee and Annabell (McNeese) Brown in Chicago, IL. Diane married Roy Lee King on November 7, 1983 in Chicago. Diane is survived by her daughters Tasha Brown and Torneisha (Antione) Pearson; grandchildren Willie Moore III, Mariah Buchanan, Darion Hinton, Taniyyah Brown, Talicia Brown, and Tay Tjuan Pearson; brothers Eddie Lee Johnson and Tommy Lee McNeese; sisters Doretha Gordon, Marice (C.J.) Johnson, Sandra Kay Bass, Everia Brown, and Angela Brown; close friend Abraham Johnson; and best friend Debra Smith. She is preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, husband, and sons James & Terencio McFarland. Diane enjoyed cooking, playing cards, and listening to music. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. A celebration of Diane's life will be held on Wednesday November 23, 2016 at 11:00am at Sunset Funeral Home 710 N. Neil St. Champaign, IL. Burial will follow at Lincoln Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday November 22, 2016 from 4:00pm-7:00pm at the funeral home.
