Diane Lynn Grant

Diane Lynn Grant, 54, of Potomac, IL, passed away at 7:40 a.m. on Monday, November 8, 2004 at her home. She was born January 8, 1950 in Danville, Illinois, the daughter of Kenneth E. and Janis L. (Talbott) Downing. She married Larry L. Huls on February 28, 1970 in Gifford, Illinois. Larry preceded her in death on January 7, 1972. She later married John F. Grant on November 24, 1972 in Memphis, Tennessee. Diane is survived by: her husband of over 31 years - John F. Grant of Potomac; 4 Sons - Aaron L. Huls of Potomac, L. Matthew (Cindi) Huls of Potomac, John S. Grant of Potomac, and Sammy; 2 Daughters - Sarah D. (Joshua) Britt of Boomer, NC and Summer N. (Michael) Schluter of Gifford, IL; her Mother- Janis L. Evans of Gibson City, IL; her Father- Kenneth E. Downing of Florida; 10 Grandchildren- Lane, Olivia, Emma, and Matticin Huls, Alyssa, Hunter, and Josie Britt, Natalie and Evan Schluter and Chelsea Johnson; 1 Brother- Robert G. Downing of Westville and 1 Sister - Gail D. (Rand) Potter of Potomac. Diane was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandma and best friend. She enjoyed crafts, cooking, taking care of her grandkids and gardening.
