Diane Howard

Diane Howard, 70, of Danville passed away at 6:05 AM on November 18, 2011. Diane was born on June 23, 1941 to Oliver and Marie (Collignon) Davis in Danville. She married Ricky Howard on September 20, 1980 at Forest Glen in Westville. He preceded her in death on January 31, 2009. She is survived by one son- Marc (Lori) Davis of Danville, two daughters- Brenda (Tom) Taylor of Westville and Cindy (Greg Drullinger) Stine of Danville, one brother- David (Agnes) Davis, one sister Fannette (Gene) Elliott of Danville, two brothers-in-law- Duane (Hope) Howard of Westville and Butch (Bev) Howard of Danville, three sisters-in-law- Pam (J.R.) Young of Danville, Mary (Mike) Eberly of Danville, Diane (Rick) Bacon of Florida, six grandchildren- Mark (Renae) Stine, Brett Stine, Lucas Taylor, Emily Taylor, Zachary and Michaela Davis, two great-grandchildren- Maddax and Kaiston Stine, two special cousins Betty Keiser of Danville and Carol Keiser Shaffer of California, several other nieces nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one brother Richard Davis. Diane graduated from Danville High School in 1959. She enjoyed quilting, sewing crocheting and working in her yard and house. More than anything else she loved her family. She looked forward to and cherished family birthday parties, holiday gatherings and any ole reason to get everyone together. She would do anything in the world for any of her family. They depended on her greatly and will miss her dearly. A Celebration of Diane's Life will be held from 1-3 PM on Tuesday November 22, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home in Danville with Pastor James Blue officiating. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM on November 22, 2011 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park. Memorials may be made in Diane's name to Cara No-Kill Animal Shelter in Tilton.
