Diana M. Schwanke

Diana Marie Schwanke, 72, of Fisher, IL passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2025. She was born in Urbana on December 28, 2025, the daughter of Robert Dale and Eileen Martha (Henry) Burr.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 33 years, Robert E. Schwanke Jr., daughter, Angela (Kris) Hilst, grandchildren, Jocelynn and Robert Erickson, and siblings, Jan Spicer and Robert Burr II.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Diana was a woman of many interests and talents. She enjoyed collecting dolls and a variety of interesting items such as quilts, tea sets, vintage hats and hat boxes, and Raggedy Ann Dolls. In her younger years, she also enjoyed drawing, painting, and sewing.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 3, 2025, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center’s Lux Chapel, 1551 E. Grove Ave. Rantoul, IL 61866. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
