Diana Marie Larsen

Diana Marie Larsen, 76, of Oakwood passed away at her home with her family by her side on September 2, 2023 at 8:15 PM.

Diana was born on May 2, 1947 the daughter of Eldon and Illene (Smiley) Thompson in Danville, IL. She married Donald Larsen on February 12, 1966 in Danville and he survives.

Survivors include her husband, Donald Larsen of Oakwood, two sons, David (Brenda) Larsen of Oakwood, IL and Darren (Judith) Larsen of Surprise, AZ, five grandchildren, Kyle (Andra Wilt) Larsen, Kasie (Nick Hunt) Larsen, Savanah Larsen, Micah Larsen, and Daphne Larsen, four great grandchildren, Ava, Hadlee, Charlette and Brentlee as well as four siblings, Steve (Deb Long) Thompson, Lance (Carol) Thompson, Karen Reitsma and Penny Porter and one special cousin, Tom Thompson.

Diana is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Roger Thompson.

Diana loved spending time with her children and her grandchildren. She also enjoyed planting and working in her flower gardens around the home.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Visitation will be held at from 5-7:00 PM on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, IL 61834.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Dianas memory to the Parkinsons Foundation Midwest Chapter.
