Diana Lynn Williamson

Diana Lynn Williamson, 72, of Tilton, IL passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2022. She was born in Danville, IL on June 10, 1949, the daughter of Deloris Shaffer.

Diana is survived by her son, William Williamson; daughter-in-law, Lucy Williamson; grandchildren, Mary Lynn (Kristian) Gilbert, Crystal Nichole (Corey) Shafer; great-grandchildren, Oliver "Ollie" Gilbert, Louie Gilbert and Orion Shafer.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Deloris (Shaffer) Henderson; son, Robert Williamson and sister, Doris "Sherry" Kantout.

Diana worked at Walmart for many years. She then worked at County Market for several years before working as a house keeper. Where she took care of several wonderful families. She loved tinkering and whether it be fixing toys for her great grandchildren or changing watch batteries, she always kept busy.

She had a deep faith in God. She attended Faith Baptist Church. She was always thinking of others and loved spending time with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of meeting her.

In honor of Dianas wishes the family has called upon the care of Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834 to follow through with her cremation. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday March 26th starting at 2 p.m., at The United Church of Tilton, 520 West 5th St. Tilton IL
