Diana Cox

Danville Diana Cox, 60, of Danville, IL passed away on July 28, 2021 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.

Diana was born in Danville, IL the daughter of Roy and Barbara (Denny) Boyer, Sr on October 4, 1960. She married David Cox, Sr on May 10, 1986 and he preceded her in death on January 21, 2016.

Survivors include her children, Elizabeth (Jacob) Hill of Champaign, IL, Angela Burks of Danville, IL, and Jerry (Deborah) Handy of Danville, IL, special friend Harley Huckleby of Danville, IL, two sisters Joyce Harden of Danville, IL and Cathy Palmer of Danville, IL, five grandchildren, Tiffani, Brady, Zara, David and Daniel as well as one great grandchild Makai.

Diana is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one brother Roy Boyer, Jr.

Diana enjoyed going to Paris, IL to shop and eat, as well as going on long car rides, playing games on her phone and spending time with her great grandson.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834 is assisting the family with arrangements
