Destiny Rose Crouchè

Destiny Rose Crouch, 10, of Westville, gained her wings in her mother Luras arms Friday, June 14, 2019 after a lifelong struggle. She was born July 22, 2008 to Jack Crouch and Britton (Tanner) Weir.

Desi loved Dinosaur Train videos especially the Elvis singing dinosaur, music, kids playing, kisses and hugs from her papa, David, lots and lots of cuddles with her mother, Lura. She brought great joy with a profound teaching of unconditional love and patience to her mother and many of her care givers. Desi was able to say her first words, walk her first steps and play in Heaven in the loving arms of our Lord Jesus!

She will be greatly missed by many but mostly her mother, Lura Reagan; papa, David (late Gina) Tanner; biological mother, Britton (Tanner) Weir; brothers, Jonnie Stout, & Cole Weir; sisters, MaKaya Stout, Aundraya Weir, & Dahlia Crouch; her father, Jack Crouch; uncles, Dylan (Jennie) Tanner, Jeremy Crouche, & Jeremy Watson; grandmothers, Sydney Watson & Linda Emmons; great-great Granny, Betty Mossey; aunts, Tammy Young, DJ Martin (her special nurse), & Lisa (John)Burke; Uncle Porter (Christine) Baird; many cousins, Lisa Curry, Sophia Curry, Julian Reed, Aubriella Reed, Briar Burke, Raef Burke, Melissa Decker, Detin Boswell, Ryan Williams (currently deployed), Danny Young, Blake Young, Kyra Young, Braize Young, Mia Young, Alecia (James)Stacey, Logan Marshall, Maddox Stacey, Londyn Stacey, Jordan Reitsma, Gavin Risinger, Paisely Reitsma, Lilith Mooris, Chaston Baird, & Savanah Baird; Great Aunt, Liz Reagan(Rick); Great Uncle, Bill (Wilma)Reagan; and Great Uncle, Danny Reagan.

A celebration of Destinys life will be held at 12:00pm, Friday, June 21, 2019, at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Westville, located at 414 S State St., with Pastor James Blue officiating. Visitation will be held 11:00am to 12:00pm on Friday prior to service. She will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Park, Danville.
