Dennis Rose

We regret to announce the passing of Dennis Ray Rose on November 17th, 2025. Funeral services will be conducted at Stone Creek Church, 2502 S. Race St. Urbana, IL, 61801 on December 9th, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Ricky and Pastor Marc officiating. A private interment for the family will follow immediately.

Mr. Rose was born on January 24th, 1956, in Vincennes, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Rose, and his sisters, Debbie Rose and Linda Warren.

He is survived by his mother, Betty Dillman, and his sister, Sandra (David) Coad. He is also survived by Brenda (Bill) Carter, Chuck (Jane) Goad, Craig (Stacey) Goad, Joyce Rose, and his cherished dog, Sampson, along with numerous nieces and nephews who loved their Uncle Denny.

He enjoyed sharing his faith and enjoyed participating in the life of multiple churches, most recently Stone Creek Church. Dennis found pleasure in riding the MTD, playing softball with his friends, volunteering at Salt and Light, and participating with The Singing Men of GNN and Mahomet Christian Church's The Living Flag.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Salt and Light Ministries.
