Denise Marriage,69, a beloved figure whose impact resonated deeply within her community, passed away on December 21, 2025, in Danville, Illinois. Born on October 25, 1956, in Danville, Denise dedicated her life to working closely with people, embodying compassion and warmth throughout her career. Her innate ability to connect with others made her a cherished presence among friends and family alike.
Denise was known for her vibrant personality, having a joyful spirit that thrived in the company of those she loved. She enjoyed socializing with her friends and family, finding happiness in their shared moments together. Family was always the most important aspect of her life, particularly her grandchildren, who brought immense joy and pride to her heart.
An exceptional cook, Denise filled her home with delicious meals and cherished memories around the dinner table. Her culinary talents were another reflection of her love, as she delighted in sharing her creations with loved ones.
Denise is survived by her daughters, Misty (Derrick) Moody and Brandi (Jaffet Mora) Monge, who carry forward her legacy of love and kindness. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Dylan (Macey) Dalbey, Charity (Andrew) Osborn, and Harlee Gustin, as well as her great-grandson, Crew Dalbey. Denise is lovingly remembered by her sisters, Joleen (Theo Hill) Adams, Sherri (Tim Landers) Adams, and Paula (Ali) Hussain, and one brother Jason (Sue) Johnson, along with many nieces and nephews whose lives she touched with her nurturing spirit.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Mary (Shelato) Adams, and her brothers, Paul Andrews and Max Adams. Their memories will forever be intertwined with Denise's legacy, as they shaped her into the remarkable person she was.
Visitation will be held at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center's Urbas Chabel 414 S State Street Westville, Illinois, on Saturday December 27, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. With burial at Sandusky Cemetery following. This gathering will provide an opportunity for family and friends to come together, share stories, and celebrate the life of Denise Marriage, a remarkable woman who touched many lives with her love and compassion.
