Denise Bailey

Denise Gail Bailey, age 57, of Danville, passed away at 9:29 pm on Wednesday, December 26, 2007 at Provena Covenant Hospital in Urbana. She was born November 14, 1950 in Paxton, IL the daughter of Kenneth R. and Margie P. (Atkins) Kietzman. She married David Bailey in April of 2002 in Covington, IN. He survives. Denise is also survived by her father: Kenneth of Williamsport, IN; two daughters: Leslie Myers of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Amanda Petkus of Gifford, IL; one brother: Rodney D. Kietzman of Defiance, Ohio; three sisters: Sandra K. (Clyde) Cooksey of Staunton, IN, Glenna J. (Marvin) Pate of Williamsport, IN, Michele J. Kietzman of South Bend, IN; nine grandchildren and many special and loving friends. She was preceded in death by her mother: Margie. Denise worked for three years a McLanes and then spent ten years at Walmart in Danville. She loved being outdoors, camping and fishing where two of her favorite pastimes. Denise was a huge NASCAR fan, especially of her favorite driver Rusty Wallace. She enjoyed slow dancing with her husband and going bowling. She loved taking care of her two Rottweilers. She liked planting and taking care of her flowers. Denise was a member of the GRATO.
