Demetrula Hires

Danville, Ill. - Demetrula Hires, 87, formerly of Georgetown and a resident of Gardenview Manor passed away at 9:41 p.m. CST Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Gardenview Manor.

She was born March 28, 1930 in Danville, Illinois the daughter of the late James and Dixie (Cook) Karakachos.

She married Francis Luther Hires on August 5, 1948 in Paxton, Illinois. He preceded her in death on August 6, 1987.

Survivors include three sons: Mike (Theresa) Hires of Perrysville, Indiana; Pete Hires of Georgetown, Illinois and John (Alice) Hires of Catlin, Illinois.

There will be no services. A private graveside service for the family was held at Danville National Cemetery in Danville, Illinois.
