Delores A. Miller, 81, of Danville, died at 1:25 p.m. on Tuesday, December 12, 2006, at Provena U.S.M.C. in Danville. Delores was born July 14, 1925, in Danville, the daughter of Walter F. and Ruby (Marble) Baumgart. She married Orville E. Miller on May 18, 1947 in Danville at Trinity Lutheran Church. He survives. Delores is survived by a sister, Margaret Murphy; a sister-in-law, Margaret George; four nieces, Janice Richardson, Cynthia Roderick, Barbara Drew, and Judy Stuebe; three nephews, Gordon Murphy, Howard George and Jerry George and twenty-three great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant twin brother and a sister. Delores worked for Green, Lowenstein, and Wren Insurance as a secretary. She enjoyed painting china, quilting and cross stitching. Delores was a very passionate volunteer for the Lutheran schools and was a life member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Delores will be remembered for her generosity and for being a very loving and feisty lady and aunt. A celebration of Delores life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 15, 2006 at Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Kent Tibben officiating. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, December 14, 2006 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park.
