Delores Jody Adams

WESTVILLE- Delores Jody Adams, 72 of Westville, passed away at 4:02pm on Sunday, June 3, 2007 at the Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Il. Mrs. Adams was born on October 3, 1934, in Georgetown, IL, the daughter of Stanley and Sophia (Voahovich) Neverdousky. Both her parents precede her in death. On August 6, 1955, Jody married Mr. Rolland Adams in Georgetown. He preceded her in death on October 2, 1998. Jody is survived by her children. Brad (Debbie) Adams of Westville, Bryan Adams, of Westville, and Brooke Adams of Indianapolis, Indiana. Jody is also survived and will be missed by her grandson, Justin Adams of Westville, her brother; Tom Butch (Carol) Moody of Georgetown, and her two sisters; Jackie Blake of Florida, and Deborah Moody of Georgetown. Jody owed and operated, Jodys Floral Boutique in Westville for many years where she loved making various silk arrangements for the area High School students and their various events. She enjoyed watching the North Carolina Tar Heels and the Fighting Illini Basketball Teams. She was a huge fan of Jamie McMurray and enjoyed NASCAR Racing. Jody also enjoyed cooking, giving hugs, and cherished the time spent with her family. She never knew a stranger and always greeted them with a smile or a hug. She will be missed by all that knew her. A memorial mass to celebrate the life of Mrs. Delores Jody Adams is scheduled for 10:00am on Friday, June 8, 2007 at St. Marys Church located at 231 N. State St. in Westville. Father Tom Badovsky will conduct the mass. A gather of family and friends will be held from 4-8pm on Thursday, June 7, 2007 at the Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel located at 414 S. State St. in Westville. Their will be no inurnment at this time. Per Jodys wishes, her body will be donated to medical science. In lieu of flowers, a trust fund has been set aside in the name of Justin Adams at the local 1st National Banks of Westville, and/or Danville.
