Delores Fogleman

Delores "Dotsy" Fogleman was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world on December 6, 2022.

Dotsy was born and raised in Westville, Illinois to Dora and Spike Revello on July 14, 1941. After graduating from Westville High School, she married her high school sweetheart John Fogleman. They attended college at Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois. She went on to obtain her Masters degree in Education from the University of Illinois. The Foglemans taught and coached at Danville High School for 18 years before relocating with their family to Boca Raton, Fl where she continued to teach and coach for another 18 years at Saint Andrews School. Upon retirement in 2006 she and John returned to Danville to enjoy retirement with family and friends.

Dotsy and John have 2 children, Stacy born in 1965 and Kristin born in 1970 and three Grandchildren, Tristan, Savannah and Saylor. Dotsy is also survived by her brother, Ken Revello.

Dotsy loved coaching, running and spending time with her Grandchildren. At Danville High School she coached cheerleading and tennis. She had very special memories from those teams. While coaching at Saint Andrews School she coached two State Championship teams in cross country and tennis. She ran several marathons including winning the over 70 categories in her last half-marathon in 2012. She loved baking brownies with her grandchildren and watching them play sports.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834. Pastor Raymie Gordon will officiate. There will be a visitation held just prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Alzheimers Association on her behalf.
