Deloras J. Henderson

Deloras J. Henderson, 73, of Danville passed away at 4:38 am on Wednesday May 5, 2004 at Provena USMC Logan Campus in Danville. She was born on June 18, 1930 the daughter of Roy and Dolly Wilson Shaffer in Danville. She married Robert Henderson on May 4, 1950 in Danville and he preceded her in death in 1972. She is survived by two daughters: Diana Williamson of Danville and Sherry (Michael) Kantout of Westville, one brother: John Shaffer of Danville, three grandchildren: Robert (Lucy) Williamson, William (Candy) Williamson and Michele Kantout as well as six great grandchildren, Alexa, Makenzie, Mary Lynn, Crystal, Candy Lynn and Beth Ann. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Deloras was an attendant at the Stan-O-Matic Coin Laundry for many years. She loved to spend time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed latch hook projects, and baking and cooking for her friends at the Church Hill Towers. She also ran a coffee shop and helped gather the SHARE food for some of the residence in the high rise.
