Delia Jane Morris

Delia Jane Morris,81, of Danville passed away at 6:52pm on Monday February 25,2008 at Provena U.S.M.C. Logan Campus. Delia was born August 20, 1926 in Danville the daughter of Joseph and Minnie Burrow Pichon. On December 8, 1945 she married Frank V. Morris in Danville he preceded her on October 24, 1993. She was the loving mother of Larry (Cathy) Morris of Georgetown, Robert ( Connie) Morris of Danville and Garry (Doris) Morris of Ashmore,Il; cherished grandmother of Larry Jr., Kenneth ( Terri), Veronica (James) Verhoeven, Dawn, Robert Jr., Steven (Felicia), Tricia, Michelle, Gary Jr (Brenda)., Tony (Shelly) Collom, Dominique and Danielle Caputo; great grandmother of 35 and great great grandmother of 2, dear sister of Madeline (Jack) Cary of Catlin, fond aunt to many nieces and nephews, longtime friend of Pat Lacey and also a sister-in-law and her husband of Indianapolis. Delia was preceded in death by her husband, a son Spec 4th class USA Kenneth Morris, a brother Everett Pichon. Delia cherished her family, enjoying the time with all of them. She attended the Hillery Assembly of God, was a member of MADD, enjoyed fishing, camping and mushrooming. She also was a fan of NASCAR. A celebration of Delias life will be held at 2:00pm on Friday February 29, 2008 at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center 3940 N. Vermilion St. Rev. Kenneth Young will officiate.
