Debra Sue Eversole

Debra Sue Eversole, 64, of Danville, passed away on Friday, August 24, 2018 in her home surrounded by loved ones. She was born the daughter of Robert and Alice Johnson on October 26, 1953 in Danville, IL. She married Steven E. Eversole on November 24, 1993. He survives. Also surviving include her daughter, Billie J. Miles; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; one brother, Jimmy Johnson; and her dog, Deuce. Preceding Debra in death are both of her parents and one brother, Robert Johnson. Debra loved many things, she once organized a fundraiser for cancer research, and she was a part of the Women of the Moose club. Debra especially loved her family. She loved cooking big meals for her family and spending time with them. She was a great wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be missed dearly by the people she loved. The family would like to give a special thanks to Hospice, Dr. Labayog, as well as his staff. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 3940 N. Vermilion St. in Danville. Officiating will be Jack Lazzel. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery in Danville. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to The American Lung Association.
