Debra S. Sorenson

Debra S. Sorenson, 51, of Ridge Farm, IL passed away at 10:55 p.m. Friday December 23, 2011 at her home. She was born on April 6, 1960 in Potosi, MO the daughter of Florence Rulo. She married Jerry Sorenson on March 28, 1977 in Springfield, IL. He survives. Other survivors include her sons, Brian (Sunny) Sorenson of Ridge Farm and Jason Sorenson of Pensacola, FL; one daughter Becci (Nick) Hill of Bismarck; four brothers, Terry, Ray, Jerry, and Dion Rulo, all of Potosi, MO; two sisters, Ruth Edgar and Jeanne Calmer, both of Potosi, MO; her father in law, Guy Sorenson of Springfield, IL; six grandchildren, Jabie, Kimberly, Cameron, Michael, Debbie, and Keegan. Debra worked as an office assistant at Life Safety Design for four years. She loved being outside and like fishing and target shooting. She enjoyed Dune Buggy Riding in her younger years. She enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles and crossword puzzles. A memorial visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday December 28, 2011 at Sunset's Houghton-Leasure Funeral Chapel, A Life Celebration Home. As per her wishes she will be cremated.
