Debra Kaye Fitton

Debra "Deb" Kaye (Sullivan) Fitton, 61 of Champaign, passed away on Friday June 10, 2016 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL. She was born in Mount Vernon, IL on October 4, 1954 to Charles Wayne and Betty Jean (Mitchell) Sullivan. Deb married Wendell Fitton in August of 1985 in Champaign, IL. Deb is survived by her step-daughters Julie & Sheila Fitton of Las Vegas; special nephew Kyle Fitton; several in-laws, nieces, & nephews; and special friends Richard & Diane Mulvaney. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and grandparents. Deb loved her two cats, Goobie & Oakley, and she enjoyed shopping. She gave the gift of life to others by making organ and tissue donation through Gift of Hope. Special thanks to her coworkers at the University of Illinois for their love and support. Per Deb's wishes, cremation rites have been arranged through Sunset Funeral Home at 710 N. Neil Street, Champaign, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Deb's name to the Vermilion County Animal Shelter.
