Deborah Newlin

Deborah Newlin, 65, of Tilton, passed away at 2:03pm, Saturday, December 25, 2021, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana. She was born on February 18, 1956, in Danville, IL, the daughter of Edwin Jr. and Inez {Cope} Wheeler, both deceased. She is survived by her children, Ladonna Newlin (Luke Pollock) of Danville, Jessica (Josh) Meador of Attica, IN, & Jamie (Justan) of Dana, IN; her grandchildren, Peyton, Noah, Evan, Evie, Ashley, Kc, her two sisters; her four brothers; several nieces & nephews; and many good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother. Deborah worked at Flex-N-Gate for over 25 years and enjoyed gardening, as well as an avid collector of Elvis memorabilia. She was known to help anyone in need and loved spending time with her grandchildren, family, and friends. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. A celebration of Deborahs life will be at 10:00am, Friday, December 31, 2021, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Georgetown, Illinois 200 E. West St. Georgetown, Illinois 61846 with Pastor James Blue officiating. Visitation will be held 4:00pm to 7:00pm, Thursday, December 30, 2021, at the funeral home. She will be accorded cremation rites. Memorial donations may be given in her name to donors choice of charity.
