Deborah Mahoney, 59, of Covington passed away on April 20, 2015 peacefully at her home. She was born on January 19, 1956 in Clinton, IN, the daughter of Kenny and Dorothy (Sherman) Myers. Deborah married John Russell Mahoney on June 17, 2000. He survives. She will be deeply missed by her parents, husband, children; Troy (Cathie) Sams of Cayuga, IN, Kendall (Dina) Sams of Perrysville, IN and Jaclyn (Camron) Mills of Champaign, IL, step children; Mark Mahoney, Jennifer Christie and Ashley (Dusty) Palmer, sisters; Vickie Payne of Ridgefarm, IL, Kim (Joe) Cardwell of Cayuga, IN, Karen (Jay) Bumpus of Covington, IN, grandchildren; Devon and Courtney Sams, Brennen Black and Cierra Sams, Jonathon Hanley and Bryson Sams, step-grandchildren; Alex and Zach Christie, Matthew Granrath and Tori Mahoney. Deborah worked at Genpact in Danville, IL in the Medicare Billing division for 10 years. She and John were members of Maranatha Baptist Church in Covington, IN. she enjoyed riding motorcycles, camping, watching fireworks on the 4th of July and especially spending time with her children and grandchildren. A celebration of Deborah's life will be held on Friday, April 24, 2015 at 11:00 AM EST at Maranatha Baptist Church in Covington, IN, with Pastor Kenneth Jones officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2015 from 4:00-8:00 PM EST at Sunset's Covington Chapel 420 3rd Street, Covington, IN 47932. Deborah will be laid to rest at Eugene Cemetery in Eugene, IN. Memorials can be made in c/o Deborah's family. The family would like to invite anyone with a motorcycle to ride in the funeral procession to the cemetery if they wish.
