Deborah Kay Taylor

Danville - Deborah Kay Taylor, 63, of Danville passed away at 2:50pm on January 15, 2018 at Presence Covenant Medical Center in Urbana. Deborah was born on May 7, 1954 in Attica, IN the daughter of Robert and Betty (Onley) Moody. She married James Taylor on November 6, 1981 in Danville, IL and he survives. Survivors include her husband, James Taylor of Danville, IL, two sons, Dennis (Angela) Burchfield of Danville, IL and Michael Burchfield of Danville, IL, one step-sons, Todd Taylor of Danville, IL, one step-daughter, Jamie Taylor of Danville, IL, two sisters, Marylin Moody of Danville, IL and Carolyn Troxel of Danville, IL, seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Deborah is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Bobby Moody. Deborah was a CNA at Danville Care and later the VA Illiana Health Care System where she retired after 17 years of service. She enjoyed crocheting, fishing, family outings and spending time with her grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday January 20, 2018 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center 3940 N Vermilion Street Danville, IL. Brian Blackford will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park in Danville. Visitation will be held on Friday January 19, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
