Deborah S. (Ritter) Benipal passed away on Sunday, February 20,2022 at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born on October 29, 1959, the daughter of Earlyne F. Ritter in Danville, IL.

Surviving is her husband, Kulvender S. Benipal; six children, Lisa Marie Rickgauer (Salvador) Duran-Trejo, Troy Allen Rickgauer, Cory Adam Rickgauer, Amanda Rae Rickgauer, Brooke English Sims, and Annie Mae Marie Sims; twelve grandchildren, Troy Day, Brent Rickgauer, Cheyenne Day, Jayden Rickgauer, Mackenzie Rickgauer, Blair Rickgauer, Tyler Farney, Joshua Huston, Riley Rickgauer, Jailyn Dixie Huston, Sydney Grace Farney, and Evan Robbins; two great grandsons; two brothers, Dwayne W.Ritter and Donnie R.Ritter; a close brother-in-law, Randy Williams; a special nephew and niece, Brandon Williams and Heather Marie Williams; several non-related children and grandchildren as well as a host of family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Earlyne F. Ritter; late husband, Brent A. Rickgauer; one sister, Darla L. Ritter; three brothers, Dennis Ritter, Danny Ritter, and Steven Ritter; two aunts, two uncles, and her eldest grandchild, Kirkland O. Butcher.

Debbie attended Washington School as a child and then attended Danville High School. She was fun, loving, and all about her family. She enjoyed cooking, reading her Bible, listening to music, and watching her favorite TV shows. She loved the outdoors and sitting on her porch feeding her birds. She was a Mother, Wife, and homemaker all of her life and loved every minute of it! Her personality was out of this world and could make anybody smile and laugh. She always enjoyed holidays and family events. She was a hard worker for so many years and was a wonderful woman overall. She will be deeply missed and loved by so many people. The impact she made on so many lives will never fade. She will always live in and through them all.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 6, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834. Officiating will be Pastor Michael Walker. Entombment will be in Sunset Memorial Park in Danville. Visitation will be held just prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
