Debbie Jean Koss

GEORGETOWN - Debbie Jean (Hayes) Koss, 56, passed this life at 1:45am, Wednesday, April 4th, 2007, at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on August 27th, 1950, in Danville, the daughter of Marian Pat Hayes and Velma (William) Collins of Florida. She is survived by her loving husband, Frank Koss of Georgetown, whom she married on January 28th, 1970, as well as, their five children, Toni Meeker of Danville, Debra (Mark) Garner of Texas, Steffanie (Jeremiah) Lyons of Georgetown, Frank Koss Jr. & Renee Koss of Georgetown; her four grandchildren, Daniel Medley of Texas, Brooke Gilbert of Georgetown, Dalton Gilbert of Georgetown, & Nathan Garner of Texas; her four loving puppies; her brothers, Larry (Teresa) Hayes and Greg Kip Hayes; and a very special friend, Ruth Koss. She was preceded in death by her father and brother. She worked at the VA Hospital for many years. She enjoyed reading, collecting Betty Boop memorabilia and spending time with her family and friends. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, & friend. A Memorial Visitation will be from 3pm to 7pm on Saturday, April 7th, 2007, at Sunsets Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, 200 E West St, Georgetown.
