Debbie Haluska

Debbie Haluska, 57, of Westville, passed away at 5:40am, Monday, February 26, 2018, at her home. She was born December 4, 1960, Danville, IL, the daughter of Robert and Margaret {Lewis} McCool. She was united in marriage to Joe Haluska on October 25, 1997 in Georgetown, IL. He survives. She is also survived by: her two daughters, Lisa Brown of Atlanta, Georgia & Jennifer Brown of Danville; her brothers, Robert (Brenda) McCool & William McCool of Westville; her sisters, Donna (Jeff) Lankster of Westville & Diane (Rob) Dukes of Olivet; and her four grandchildren, Kaden & Kylen Denton and Landyn & Brendyn Blakeney. She was preceded in death by her parents. Debbie attended and graduated from Westville High School. She also attended Lakeview School of Nursing. She previously worked as a CNA at VA Illiana Health Care Systems in Danville from 1988 to 2004. Debbie enjoyed being with family and attending sporting events that her grandchildren participated in and being outdoors. She adopted two of her grandsons and lived every moment for them. She would go out of her way to help anyone she could, in every way she could. She was so much fun to be with. She loved animals, especially her dogs, Buddy, Spencer, & Boo. Debbie will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Debbie will be cremated per her wishes. Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, 414 S State St, Westville, assisted her family with arrangements.
