Debbie Fourez

Debbie Kathline Fourez, 53, of Oakwood, formerly of Ridge Farm, passed away at 10:03 p.m. Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at her home. Debbie was born on March 12, 1955 in Georgetown, Illinois, the daughter of Delmar and Eve (Thompson) Wills. She married Dan Fourez on March 17, 1973 in Oakwood. He survives. She is also survived by her mother Eve Wills of Westville; one son- Craig Fourez of Oakwood; one daughter- Crystal Saults of Oakwood; one brother- Michael (Julie) Wills of Georgetown; seven sisters- Becky (Lynn) Simmons of Fairmount, Shirley (Larry) Hayes of Tilton, Joyce (Alan) Johnson of Ridge Farm, Carla (Kenny) Nichols of Perrysville, Indiana, Sherri (Bill) Shanks of Danville, Terri Cullop of Danville and Ginger (Scott) Cooper of Westville; three grandchildren- Nick and Emily Saults of Oakwood and Robert Doggett Fourez of Catlin; and several nieces and nephews. Debbie was preceded in death by her father. Debbie worked as an assistant manager at Colonial Pantry in Oakwood for 14 years. She previously served on the Oakwood Village Board as a Trustee. She loved to go camping and boating and also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Visitation will be from 1:00-5:00 p.m. Saturday, August 23, 2008 at Sunsets Oakwood Chapel. Per Debbies wishes she will be cremated.
