Dean Craig

GEORGETOWN - Dean Craig, 74, of Georgetown, passed away at 1:24am on Thursday, January 11th, 2007, at St. Vincents Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. He was born on September 29th, 1932, in Scotland, Illinois. He married Betty P. Carter on December 21st, 1974, in Indianola, IL. She survives of Georgetown. Other survivors include: his children, Danny Rossiter of Danville, Roy Rossiter of Georgetown, Carl (Stacie) Rossiter of Oakwood, William (Debbie) Craig of Catawba, NC, Claude Rossiter Jr. of Jacksonville, FL, and Ruth A. Pundt of Sidell, one sister Ann Hewitt, twenty grandchildren, thirty-three great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and two grandchildren. Dean was a retired Lieutenant in the Navy, serving from February of 1952 to September of 1971. He fought in the Korean War and served during Vietnam. Dean enjoyed watching football games, especially Navy and the Jacksonville Jaguars. He enjoyed traveling and loved Star Trek and Space Shuttles.
