Dean Allen Buhrmester

Dean Allen Buhrmester, 37, of Watseka, passed away at 1:30 a.m. Saturday, April 30, 2005 at Morris Hospital in Morris, Illinois. He was born December 4, 1967 in Watseka, Illinois, the son of Gary Gene and Rosa Lee (McDonald) Buhrmester. He is survived by: 2 Children- Johnathan Dalton Buhrmester and Meaghan Genevieve Buhrmester residing with their mother " Rachel Tewell in Atwood, Illinois; his mother- Rosa Lee (Tom) Frink of St. Petersburg, FL; his father- Gary Gene (Kathy) Buhrmester of Watseka; his maternal Grandmother- Rose (John) Schmidt of St. Petersburg, FL; 1 Brother- Steve Buhrmester of Hoodsport, Washington; 1 Sister- Christine Fraher of Gardner, IL; 2 Adopted Sisters- Missy and Breanna Buhrmester; 1 Step-Sister- Jammie Rodgers ; 3 Nephews, numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. He was preceded in death by: 1 Sister- Rebecca Becky Buhrmester in 2000, his paternal Grandparents- Ralph and Helen Buhrmester, and his maternal Grandfather " Leo McDonald. Dean graduated from Watseka High School in 1986. After high school, he joined the U.S. Air Force, serving from 1987- 1992, working as a Bomb Builder and serving in the Gulf War. He was a member of D.A.V. in Danville, and he enjoyed working with antique tractors, collecting coins and matchbox cars, wrestling and most of all spending time with his children. He compared himself to Charlie Brown, and he was a kind hearted, quiet, generous soul. Dean will be forever missed by his family and friends.
