David W Rollins

David W. Rollins, 47, of Georgetown passed away at 3:42 p.m. Sunday April 29, 2012 at Provena USMC Logan Campus. He was born on September 11, 1964 in Danville, IL the son of Allen and Joy (McMasters) Rollins. He married his best friend since 1998, Debbie Ogle on December 16, 2007 at Forest Glen Preserve. She survives. Other survivors include: his mother, Joy Rollins of Georgetown; his sons, Josh (Michelle) Rollins of Georgetown and Rodger Durbin of Westville; a daughter, Susan (Jeremy) Lipa of Covington, IN; two brothers, Henry (Cindy) Rollins of Vermilion Grove and Mark (Nancy) Rollins of Georgetown; a sister, Lordel (Pat) Hoskins of Missouri; his grandchildren, Shelby, Paige, Parker, and Mallory, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and one sister, Vicki. David worked for Vermilion Millworks-Th Snyder and was a member of the Carpenters' Local #44. David enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping. He loved spending time with his kids and his grandbabies. He also loved going on road trips with his wife Debbie. A celebration of David's life will be held at 12 noon of Wednesday May 2, 2012 at Sunset's Houghton-Leasure Funeral Chapel. Pastor James Blue will officiate. Visitation will be held from 10a-12noon on Wednesday, prior to the service. He will be laid to rest at McKendree Twp. Cemetery.
