David Robert Darling

Danville - David Robert Darling, 52, passed away on Saturday April 30, 2016 at Carle Hospital in Urbana, IL. He was born on May 11, 1963 in Danville, the son of Curtis & Barbara (Eaton) Darling. David is survived by his parents; brother Stephen Darling; sisters Michelle (Daniel Saalfeld) Darling & Heather (Jay) Adamcik; nieces & nephews Samantha Darling, Benjamin Darling, Kelsey Parker, Heidi Parker, & Noah Adamcik; and several aunts & uncles. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, brother Paul, and special friend Rhonda. David enjoyed riding his Harley, fishing, and hunting. He was fond of his two pet cats. David liked to watch the Chicago Bears & Cubs as well as Illini football & basketball. Visitation will be held at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center on Wednesday May 4, 2016 from 1-3pm with service to follow at 3pm at the funeral home. Private burial will follow at Allhands Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in David's name to the organization or charity of their choice.
