David Phillips

David Phillips, 75, of Danville, IL passed away on September 29, 2023 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL.

David was born on September 23, 1948 the son of Robert and Rose (Allison) Phillips. He married Constance Murdock on December 6, 1969 in Danville and she survives.

Survivors include his wife, Connie Phillips of Danville, IL, one daughter, Debbie Irvin of Danville, IL, siblings, Diane Jones of Paxton, IL, Cathy Deck of Potomac, IL and Penny Guajardo of Henning, IL, brothers-in-law, Ed Huston of Rossville, IL and Santos Guajardo of Henning, IL, several sisters-in-law, as well as several nieces and nephews and the Young Family.

David is preceded in death by his parents, his son, David Lee Phillips, siblings, Marylee Phillips, Duane Phillips and Vicki Huston, and a nephew, Tommy Jones.

David enjoyed spending his free time with his family, playing with his "grand dog" "Mickey" and camping, especially at Sugar Mill in Indiana.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834 Pastor James Blue will officiate. Burial will be in Gundy Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1-2:00 PM on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at the funeral home.

Memorial may be contributed to the charity of the donors choice in Davids memory.
