David Osterbur

David Lewis Osterbur, 39, of Oakwood, passed away at 3:51 p.m. Sunday, March 30, 2008 in rural Oakwood. David was born on December 20, 1968 in Danville, the son of Lewis and JoAnn (Farmer) Osterbur. He is survived by his one brother- Matthew J. Osterbur of Oakwood; two sisters- Cindy (Ron) Pridemore of Oakwood and Michelle (Joe) Gue of Oakwood; and two nieces and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents. David attended Oakwood High School. He previously worked at Garst Seed Company. He enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, being outdoors and working on lawn mowers. A Celebration of the Life of David Lewis Osterbur will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, with Pastor Daniel Fienen officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 " 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park following the service. Memorials may be made to the Vermilion County Animal Shelter.
