David Arthur Miller, 64, of rural Cayuga, formally of Danville, passed away at 9:42 am, Thursday, August 1, 2013, at the home of his daughter surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 5, 1949, in Danville, the son of the late Kenneth Dale and Elva (Skinner) Miller. David was united in marriage to Linda Pickett on September 17, 1970 in Danville, she will miss him dearly along with three daughters; Amy (Terry) Lynch and their children; Alyssa and Ashley of St. Joseph, Angela (Jason) McLain and their children Dean, Lexie and Chase of Cayuga, April (Jason) Grant and their son Luke of Danville, two brothers; Kenneth (Mary) Miller of Oakwood and Merle (Kay) Miller of Danville. He will also be missed by his brothers and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews. David worked for Conway Freight of Bloomington-Normal as a freight operations supervisor retiring after 19 years of service, David enjoyed woodworking, collecting Knives and swords and loved to fish, he loved the outdoors. Most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren and family. A private graveside service for David will be held at Oakhill Cemetery. Visitation for David A. Miller will be Sunday August 4, 2013 at Sunset-Urbas Chapel in Westville from 2-6 p.m. Memorials can be given to the charity of the donors choice.
