David Medrano Martinez

David Medrano Martinez , 67, of Rantoul, IL passed away on November 27, 2024 at Carle Hospital, Urbana, IL

He was born April 4, 1957 in Weslaco, TX, a son of Pablo and Herlinda (Martinez) Medrano.  He married Clara Chavez on January 23, 1978 in Houston, TX.  She survives.

Also surviving are 4 children, David Medrano Jr. of TX; Ninfa (Diego) Francisco of Rantoul; Pablo Medrano of Rantoul; Brenda (Alejandro) Medrano of Rantoul, and 11 grandchildren with the first great-grandchild born the day before his passing.

David loved bestowing gifts on those he interacted with, spreading joy everywhere he went.  He was a quiet and humble man but he surely loved his San Francisco 49ers

There will be a gathering for friends and family from 2-4 on Sunday, at Lux Memorial Chapel, 1551 East Grove, Rantoul.
