David Eugene Kiser, a dedicated paramedic for Medix, passed away on March 5, 2025, in his hometown of Danville, Illinois. Born on November 28, 1969, David was known for his commitment to helping family, friends, and neighbors with any projects they undertook.
David proudly served as an electrician in the Navy and had a passion for ballistics and marksmanship. He enjoyed fishing, hunting deer and pheasant, and gardening during his leisure time.
He leaves behind his wife, Rose Kiser; daughters Courtney (Levi) Cooper and Lauren Boettner; and granddaughters Kaitlyn Cooper and Rowyn Cooper. He is also survived by his stepsisters Debora Leaver and Barbara (Tim) Hunter, as well as his nephew Darren (Chelsey) Lamm, nephew Weston Hunter, niece Cara Hunter, and great-nephew Terron Lamm. Along with many many friends.
David was preceded in death by his father Richard Kiser Sr., mother Lois Kiser, stepmother Beverly Kiser, brothers Richard Kiser Jr. and Jon Kiser, and Niece Lisa Kiser.
A Visitation will be held on March 9, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center, located at 3940 N Vermilion St, Danville, IL 61834. As per David's wishes, cremation will follow services.
