David Henley

David Anthony Henley, 56, passed away on June 13, 2026, leaving behind many who loved him. David was an outdoorsman through and through. He found peace and happiness in hunting, fishing, and spending time in nature. He enjoyed the quietness of the outdoors and was most at home beneath open skies and among the woods and water he loved. He also had a special love for children and animals and was known for his caring heart and willingness to help others when they needed him. A hardworking laborer, David spent much of his life working with his hands. Over the years, he worked in many trades, including tree removal, concrete work, and carpentry. He took pride in honest work and was never afraid to tackle a difficult job. Above all else, David loved his family. He leaves behind his daughters, Lauren and Skylar; Jennifer, his longtime partner and the mother of his children; and Amanda, Nicole, and Kenny, whom he loved as his own. He is also survived by his mother, Lynn Ash-Petry, his father, James Henley; his sister, Marlo Henley Priest; his brother, Paul Henley; and many other family members and friends who will miss him deeply. Those who knew David will remember his strong work ethic, his love of the outdoors, his quiet nature, and the many memories shared throughout the years. His presence and the unique role he played in the lives of those who loved him will be greatly missed. While his passing leaves an immeasurable void, his memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him and in the countless memories they shared.

Visitation will be held at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center’s Lux Chapel on Wednesday June 24th 2026 from 3-5pm with a service to follow at 5pm.
