David A. Stanis

David Aaron Stanis, 23, of Westville passed away at 2:13 p.m. on Thursday September 30, 2010 at his home. He was born on February 21, 1987 in Danville, IL the son of Nancy Stanis. Survivors include his mother, Nancy (Randy) Trader of Westville, his brother, Matthew Allen of Westville, his grandmother, Nancy Lee Stanis of Westville, his girlfriend Nicole Setzer, and his dog Max. He was preceded in death by his grandpa John Stanis. David loved working as a security officer. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, especially dirt bikes. He was an outdoorsman and loved fishing. David loved music. He especially enjoyed just being with his friends and family. A celebration of Davids life will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday October 5, 2010 at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, A Life Celebration Home, 414 S. State St. Westville. Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Monday October 4, 2010 at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been set up at First Financial Bank in Westville.
