Darrell L. Redman

Danville - Darrell L. Redman, 78, of Danville passed away with his family by his side on April 17, 2017 at his home in rural Danville. Darrell was born on May 22, 1938 the son of Wilbur D. and Irene I. (Myler) Redman in Danville, IL. Darrell married Jacqueline McCoy on April 27, 1980 in Henning, IL and she preceded him in death on October 5, 2004. Survivors include two daughters, Debora Leaver of Danville, IL and Barbara (Tim) Hunter of Riverview, FL, one sister, Marilyn Talbott of Louisiana, three grandchildren, Darren Lamm of Danville, IL, Weston Hunter and Cara Hunter both of Riverview, FL, as well as one great grandson, Terron Lamm of Danville, IL. Darrell is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Jacqueline Redman. Darrell was a graduate of Henning High School and was a farmer all his life. He enjoyed spending his free time with his family and will be sadly missed by his daughters and grandchildren. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 Sunset Memorial Park 3901 N Vermilion Street Danville, IL. James Blue will officiate. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 8:00 PM on Monday, April 24, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 3940 N. Vermilion Street, Danville, IL.
