Darrel Miller

Darrel Miller, 75, of Hoopeston, IL, died at 1:46 pm on Wednesday, March 15, 2006 at the Hoopeston Community Memorial Hospital in Hoopeston, IL. He was born March 21, 1930 in Owensboro, Kentucky the son of John and Dessie (LaGrande) Miller. He married Marquetta Partin on June 6, 1960 in Kansas City, Kansas. She survives. Darrel is also survived by one son: Dale Miller of Hoopeston, IL; one daughter: Sally (Greg) Grubb of Georgetown. He was preceded in death by his parents and numerous brothers and sisters. Darrel owned and operated, along with his son, Darrel and Dale Auto Service. He retired in 1994, but still spent most of his time at the shop doing what he loved to do building hot rods and working on antique cars. He also served as a Baptist Minister for over 30 years.
