Darlene Wallpe

Darlene Kay (Kietzmann) Wallpe, 60 of Danville, IL passed away September 22, 2006 at home. She was born November 22, 1945 in Danville daughter of Leo and Katherine Morlock Kietzmann. She was formerly married to William Wallpe and he survives. Survivors include: Daughter: Tracy Hobbs (Daniel) and her grand puppies: Hallie & Mollie, Brother: Dave Kietzmann (Glenda) and their son Kyle Kietzmann and wife Laura and their two children: Zachary & Katie. Several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins, Special friends: Wanda Hutson, Carolyn & Fred Jensen, and Bob & Kathy Butterworth. She was preceded in death by her parents and infant brother Darrell. Darlene was a 1963 graduate of East Lynn High School, 1965 graduate of Danville Beauty School, and 1992 graduate of DACC. She worked for several years as a bookkeeper for Goldblatts and most recently was a cashier at Wal-Mart. She was a member of the Lioness Club and enjoyed playing Euchre, Bunko, and collecting Thimbles. A Celebration of Darlenes life will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, September 26, 2006 at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Danville. Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm Monday evening at the funeral Home. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park in Danville. Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association.
