Darlene Debarba

Danville Darlene E. DeBarba, 87, of Danville passed away at 8:20 AM on December 14, 2022 at her home in Danville, IL.

Darlene was born on November 23, 1935 the daughter of Ervin and Emma (Harding) Salzman in Waukegan, IL.

Survivors include her children, Regina (Donald) Terrell of Danville, IL and Randy (Sherry Roberts) Lawhorn of Danville, IL, ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, one sister, Donna Sawvell of Wisconsin, one son-in-law, Richard Whalfedt of Danville, IL, as well as her dog, "Little Bit".

Darlene is preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Clarice Whalfeldt and one brother, Jack Salzman.

Darlene enjoyed spending her fee time reading, working word searches and crossword puzzles, watching television, especially Hallmark Christmas Programs, and collecting mice figurines. Most of all, Darlenes great grandbabies were the "love of her life".

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, December 30, 2022, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834. Miles Clark will officiate. Inurnment will be in Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Research.
