Danny Gill Sr.

Danny Joe Gill Sr., 61, of Danville passed away at 3:56 pm Tuesday August 17, 2004 at Provena USMC Logan Campus ER. Danny was born November 30, 1942 in Danville the son of the late Robert and Colleen (Dougherty) Gill. Danny married Wanda Newton on May 16, 1988 in St. Louis, MO and she survives of Fairmount. Other survivors include 2 son's Robbie Gill of Urbana and Danny Joe Gill JR. of Fairmount. 3 daughters Terri Lynn Gill of Indiana, Sunday Eisermann of Watseka, and Kimberly Gill of Rushville, IN a sister Paula Ward of Rockville, IN. and 9 grandchildren. 1 infant brother preceded Danny in death. Danny was a veteran of the US Navy serving his country proudly during the Vietnam War. Danny worked as a truck driver until his retirement due to his health in 1989. Danny loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, jazz and the blues and especially good food.
