Mahomet - Dannie Lee Jones, 64, passed away on Thursday October 12, 2017 at Presence Covenant Medical Center in Urbana, IL. He was born on March 19, 1953 in Tacoma, WA to Elbert and Bernice (Anderson) Jones. Dannie is survived by his children Tina (Jesse) Stephens, Lee (Sarah Grindley) Jones, and Tammi (Jason) Jeane; step-son Joshua Lane; grandchildren Kaitlyn, Zachary, Colten, Samantha, Savannah, Austin, Dylan, Adrianna, and Alexis; siblings Connie (Marty) Tarter, Debbie (James) McIlvain, and Terrell (Amy) Jones. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Karen Cooper. Cremation services have been allotted to Sunset Funeral Home, 710 N. Neil St. Champaign, IL 61820.
