Daniel Stephen Fox

St. Joseph-Daniel Stephen Fox 65, of St. Joseph, Il passed away on September 27,2017 at Carle Hospital in Urbana, Il. Dan was born September 6, 1952 the son of Elmer and the late Ruth Fox. He survived by his wife Jane, daughters; Leilani (Gene) Pierson, Mila (Ronnie) Thomas, sons; David Fox, Jonathon (Yulia) Fox, Jared Hill, Sisters; Veronica (Jimmie) Cook, Heidi (Mike) Roberts, brother; Peter Braitsch, Aunt Ella Braitsch and six grandchildren. Dan embraced life fully. He retired from Peoples Gas after 37 years. He loved traveling, running and was the owner of Fox Stable in St. Joseph. He proudly served our country and was a Navy Veteran serving in Vietnam from 1970-1974. Dan will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A Celebration of Dan's life will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday September 30th at Sunset Funeral Home 710 N. Neil St. Champaign IL 61820. Visitation will be from 10-12 prior to the service. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Champaign, Il.
