Daniel Pilkington

Daniel Dan Dean Pilkington 51 of Danville passed away at 3:40 P.M. Saturday June 23, 2007 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana. Dan was born July 25, 1955 in Danville the son of Delores Powell. He married Elaine Miller on May 29, 1976 in Olivet, IL she survives, also his mother Delores Pilkington of Georgetown, a son Jason D. Pilkington of Danville, one daughter; Shelly E. Pilkington of Danville, one brother; Greg Pilkington of Georgetown, a sister; Kimberly Mauck of Danville, two grandchildren; Taylor and Alyssa Dowers, a special friend Dale Campbell of Catlin. Dan was preceded by his grandparents Thomas and Gladys Powell and his uncle Don Powell. Dan Had been a manager with C.L.S. Locating Service. He enjoyed fishing and the outdoors, Dan loved his dog Freckles which was his best friend. He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren. Dan and his family enjoyed there weekend getaways At Maggie Valley, North Carolina, it was a peaceful retreat. A celebration of Dans life will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday June 28, 2007 in the chapel at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center. Officiating will be Pastor. Dave Anderson. Entombment will be in Sunset Mausoleum.
