Daniel 'Dano' Eldridge

Daniel Dano J. Eldridge, 54, of Westville, passed away peacefully at 7:21am, Thursday, April 8, 2010, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on February 27, 1956, in Danville, IL, the son of Irvin Eugene and Helen Jane (Fleener) Eldridge, both deceased. He was united in marriage to Deborah Nier on February 27, 1981, in Tilton, IL. She will miss him dearly. Other survivors include: his son, Heath (Samantha) Eldridge of Westville; his daughter, Helen Jane Eldridge of Boynton Beach, FL; his step-mother, Rosella Eldridge of Oregon; his brothers, Irvin (Loretta) Eldridge of Cayuga, IN, William Eldridge of Kansas City, MO, Robert (Cathy) Eldridge of Newport, IN, & David (Denise) Eldridge of California; his sisters, Dianna (Jens) Gallez of Indianola, Pamela (Bill) Vance of Goreville, IL, Gigi Franks of Plymouth, IL, Debra Hughes of Oregon, Michelle Eldridge of Oregon, & Angel Eldridge of Plymouth, IL; and several nieces & nephews. Dan worked for Dedicated Management Group for 9 years as an assistant manager. He enjoyed working around the house and in his yard. Dan loved visiting with family & friends. There will be a visitation held from 1:00pm to 4:00pm, Sunday, April 11, 2010, at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, 414 S State St, Westville. As per his wishes, Daniel will be cremated following visitation.
